Happy New Year, I sure hope everyone had a blessed Holiday. I sure did, I spent almost 3 weeks in Colorado with my daughter and her family. Its so beautiful in the mountains with the snow. But the best part was being with the grandchildren which I don't see but a couple times of the year. Children are sometimes the way God speaks to us. So its nice to be around them and let Him acknowledge there innocences and witness there joy of just being themselves. I sure hope everyone had a nice New Year. God Bless All
I will be carrying a lot of primitive signs and primitive block sets which are fun to have around to express ourselves. They tell about our love for our family, home and the holidays and sometimes they just make us laugh at ourselves and others.
I got this great idea from over at Raggedy Scrappin, when doing your Christmas cards this year, take one card and send it to this address. If we pass this on and everyone sends one card, think of how many cards these wonderful special people who have sacrificed so much would get.
When you are making out your Christmas card list this year, please include the following:
A Recovering American Soldier
c/o Walter Reed Army Medical Center
6900 Georgia Avenue, NW
Washington, D.C. 20307-5001
All of the primitive signs and treasures are a bit different because of wood grains and knots which adds to a more primitive and rustic appearance to each primitive piece. We paint, sand, speckle and stain all of our primitive treasures for that olde primitive appearance we all seem to love and treasure.....We also have sawtooth hangers on the back of all our primitive signs for hanging. We can paint any signs or any of my other primitive treasures in the color or your choice.
Chattypat's Gatehouse Primitives is a homebase business where everything
is made right here in Virginia on Gate Street. I hope you find things that are
different and usual. And, of course, please check back often to see what's
new.
Now grab yourself a cup of coffee, or a coke and enjoy yourself while you browse through our primitive treasures and signs.
These are all of my grandkids from 2 1/2 years to 19 years of age.
Aren't they a bunch of nice looking girls?
